My First Major Motion Picture

It is entitled "Clash of NYC Climbing Civilizations," and in it two NYC climbers discuss the vibrant NYC gym climbing scene. I hope you enjoy it.

  1. HILARIOUS! And completely accurate. At least as far as Chelsea goes. (too afraid to go to BB.)

I'm going to live in Manhattan this autumn. For how long into the season do you think I can boulder in Central park ? Is it easy to find climbing companions there if I would want to climb on rope outside NYC? =)

  8. Gunnar: you can boulder @ Rat Rock through the fall, depending on when winter weather arrives (typically Novemberish). As for meeting climbing companions, your best bet may be the gym, though you might be able to find some amongst regulars at Rat Rock...

  9. This is a stroke of genius-thanks for it!
I climb at Brooklyn Boulders regularly and hope that one day I too will become slightly more hip by association.

I've never seen a rat, but then again I haven't gone looking for one ;-)
